Dr Canh Ly

Chiropractor

Canh grew up in a small Canadian town, he journeyed to Sydney for his Bachelors and Masters in Chiropractic Science at Macquarie University, and then settled in rural Mount Gambier. His chiropractic philosophy centres on the notion that movement is medicine, and he tailors treatments to patient’s individual needs. His clinical interests lie in injury prevention, and he assists clients with a broad range of concerns, ranging from pain associated with desk work to acute sports-related injuries.

Techniques Canh utilises include:

- Soft tissue techniques, stretching and rehabilitation advice, joint mobilisation, manual and activator adjustments.

Canh thinks that by providing proper education, patients gain insights into the root causes of their issues, empowering them to prevent recurrences and limit future injury risks.

Outside of work, he enjoys training for and competing in triathlons and supporting the Vancouver Canucks in ice hockey.

Dr Naomi Fleming

Chiropractor

Naomi, a lifelong Portland resident, has devoted herself to delivering chiropractic care to the local community since 1992.

She started her journey at Henty Chiropractic Centre, working alongside her mother, Helen McKenzie, who was also a chiropractor. Chiropractic seems to run in the family, as Naomi's daughter, Eloise, is now also practicing as a chiropractor on the Bellarine Peninsula.

Naomi's practice centres around muscle testing techniques, particularly applied kinesiology, enabling her to identify areas of weakness accurately. She combines manual adjusting, activator methods, blocks, and soft tissue therapy to provide comprehensive and effective treatment.

Dr Suzi Hearn

Chiropractor

With over 35 years of experience, Dr Suzi Hearn brings a wealth of knowledge, care, and perspective to her chiropractic care.

Originally from New Zealand, Suzi moved to Melbourne in the early ’80s to study chiropractic and has been practising in Australia ever since. She brings “old school” experience and a passion for holistic, patient-centred care, believing that a natural approach to health including chiropractic care, healthy eating, and exercise lays the foundation for lifelong wellbeing.

Her calm, grounded presence and clear communication help patients feel seen, heard, and supported.

Suzi is excited to be part of a like-minded team and is delighted to call Portland home a town she describes as the perfect blend of outdoor living, friendly people, and stunning landscapes.

She values interdisciplinary care, clear communication, collaboration, and building strong, trusting relationships - believing these are key to successful healthcare and positive outcomes.

Outside the clinic, Naomi enjoys walking her two Lagottos, Moose and Panda, staying active with yoga and exercise, and spending time in the kitchen or getting creative with crochet and sewing.

Brit Carter

Naturopath

Brit is a Bachelor-qualified Naturopath who recently returned to Portland after completing her studies in Melbourne.

Passionate about helping others feel their best, she works closely with each patient to uncover the root causes of their health concerns - believing that true health is more than just the absence of disease.

As a Family Naturopath, Brit supports people of all ages from little ones with eczema to adults navigating fatigue, metabolic issues, or the natural changes of ageing. Having experienced the frustration of suboptimal health without clear answers herself, Brit brings empathy and understanding to her care. She believes nature has provided everything we need to thrive and tailors her care to suit each individual.

A familiar face to many, Brit is thrilled to be back in the community she loves, helping others find the root causes of their health concerns and help them live vibrantly.
